A rapidly expanding in-home care company is hiring a Brands Accountant to join its Shared Support team. This newly created role in the Finance department is essential for supporting the company's growth and ensuring operational efficiency as it expands into new states. What You'll Do

In this role, the Brands Accountant will work closely with the Brand Controller and Sr. Director of Finance to oversee daily accounting operations and provide financial support to Brand Leaders across various markets. The individual will manage accounting processes, assist in financial reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with financial standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing journal entries, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, financial statement reviews, and other month-end close tasks for 3-4 assigned brands across different states
• Ensuring accurate and timely processing of all transactions in accordance with GAAP and company policies
• Overseeing the allocation of corporate costs across divisions, branches, and brands
• Supporting Brand Leaders by delivering accurate financial reports and ensuring a timely close schedule
• Assisting with intercompany reconciliations and workers' compensation entries for the parent finance team
• Preparing flux explanations for the Brand Controller's review of financial statements
• Assisting with financial audit requests and providing necessary documentation
• Supervising and training a team of offshore accounting staff, ensuring their professional development
• Supporting the financial integration of new partnerships, including transitioning financial processes such as banking, AP, and general accounting systems

The ideal candidate for this role is a detail-oriented, hands-on accounting professional with experience in a fast-paced, growing environment. The candidate is skilled in managing accounting operations, particularly with acquisitions and integrations, and thrives in a cross-functional, team-oriented setting. In addition, the Brands Accountant will:

• Possess a strong background in accounting, particularly with acquisitions and integrations
• Be comfortable managing multiple priorities and working under tight deadlines
• Have experience in leading and training offshore accounting teams, with a focus on professional development
• Be proficient in month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger management
• Have a solid understanding of GAAP and accounting standards
• Be experienced in financial reporting and flux analysis
• Have excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating with teams across finance and other departments
